Last night the 58th Annual Grammys took place with what I believe to be a lackluster event. From the moment Carry Underwood hit the red carpet to Rihanna not performing to the confusion of why Pittbull closed out the show, there was a list of things that I couldn’t understand.
Typically my highlight from the award season is the red carpet. On the carpet we commoners get a glimpse into high fashion and daring styles that push the fashion limit. Sadly I struggled with this year’s Grammys. There was not one single look that had me screaming or jumping for joy. Look after underwhelming look graced the red carpet as I sat on the edge of my couch hoping the next person arriving would satisfy my craving. Sadly the show began and my hunger for a clear fashion winner was left unfed.
Black and white ruled the red carpet as if recording artist who were once brave and boisterous in their music now became a congregation of church mice. There were some who let color speak out, but not loud enough to grab my attention. Nevertheless, I had the chance to be on Let’s Talk Live DC to give my view on winners and losers of the Grammys Red Carpet.
Now here are some of my honorable mentions that didn’t make the list on air.
