There are an assortment of Atlanta wedding venues to pick from. In the state that is called the Hollywood of the South, finding a visually striking venue sets the tone for what guests can expect from your wedding.

When you are invited to a party, one of the key things that you do is look at where the event will take place. Am I right? A less than desired venue can determine if you attend an event, yes even a wedding. You want to see where all of the fun is going to occur. There is a different mindset that one has when they walk into Caesar’s Palace than the mindset walking into a regular community hall.

It’s that same mentality that you use when picking out your wedding venue. You want a space that has the best amenities. It is visually striking and causes guests to pick their mouths up off the floor.

Here Are 5 Steps To Picking The Right Venue

Atlanta is truly a busy place to visit. It served a key part in the Civil War and the 1960s Civil Rights Movement. Today, Atlanta is the ninth largest metropolitan area in the nation. More than 75% of Fortune 100 companies conduct business within its boarders. With Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport serving as the key engine for the city’s economic growth, you can be certain that Atlanta wedding venues are up to par with he city’s growing economy.

This splendid landmark was designed by the architecture firm Shultze and Weaver, who also designed such legendary hotels as The Breakers in Palm Beach, New York’s Waldorf-Astoria, The Pierre, and The Sherry Netherland. Once publicized as “The South’s Supreme Hotel”, The Biltmore closed its doors in 1982, following changes in ownership and years of steady decline.

In 1999, after sixteen years of neglect and abandonment, The Biltmore underwent a total renovation, transforming the former hotel into a combination of Class A office space, retail and special event space. With the renovation of The Georgian and Imperial Ballrooms, and now listed on The National Register of Historic Places, The Biltmore quickly recaptured its standing as one of the social and business epicenters of Atlanta.
